What Works for Early Childhood – Have You Visited This Web Site?

The What Works Clearing House (WWC) is designed to connect early childhood educators to research about the effectiveness of best practices in education. The U.S. Department of Education launched this program during the last administration. I visited their booth at NAEYC and received some very helpful tools which I think may be valuable to you. One of the tools provided at the WWC site is research reviews of a number of curriculums that are available in early childhood. The research reviews are comprehensive and in-depth. Easy to understand graphs are provided to support the findings of the research studies. Many are using this information to make educated purchases, find answers to questions, create meeting discussions with colleagues, and much more.
