COMING SOON - The Hatch ARRA Solution!

by Susan Gunnewig Posted on: March 30, 2009 at 2:50 PM

I have been checking the federal agencies responsible for providing guidelines to support transparency of ARRA funding.  It appears that these guidelines are expected to be released any day.  Our goal is to specifically align these guidelines with our products as well as the latest research findings for our customers.  Over the past week or so, I have been receiving lists from companies showing their product alignment with an ARRA funding stream.  When inquiring how the decisions were made, I am sent lists of links that have no specific information but generalities.

We owe it to the early childhood field to spend time ensuring that products are aligned with the specific guidelines and research when using funds to purchase materials, technology, and other products.  Our solution for Infant/Toddler, Head Start and Title 1 will be coming soon but we want to get it right the first time.

Our President and Congress have awarded dollars to our field.  We need to take time to be thoughtful in spending them.
