iStartSmart Mobile includes playful tablet games for kids that maximize cognitive development. Apps are launched from a kid-safe desktop management system, so children can self-select which programs they want to use. The cornerstone of iStartSmart is Shell Squad Games, an adaptive teaching tool developed by Hatch that builds 18 core skills and with research-based activities. As children play and learn, the system automatically monitor's each child's progress and allows teachers and administrators to view reports anywhere with an Internet connection.

Picking up right where they last left off at the Hatch Tablet, children experience math, language, literacy, science and social studies concepts in a personalized and engaging learning environment unlike any other. And each time they login everything they learn is automatically saved to our web-based progress monitoring system!

iStartSmart adaptive learning technology moves children through 18 skill development areas that are known to predict academic success. Children must demonstrate understanding, before the system presents them with more advanced activities based on their individual skill level. If a child struggles with an activity, the system will automatically intervene to help them move forward or refocuses them on other skill levels necessary to master increasingly difficult concepts.

Collect authentic data while children play and learn and then login to the Hatch RMS to understand results for individuals, classrooms, schools and districts! Dashboards help pinpoint the progress that's being made and where intervention may be needed. Built-in, fully formatted and printable reports aid in frequent assessment of progress and allow teachers, administrators, counselors and parents to share meaningful data. This information can be used to help guide and personalize instruction in other areas of the classroom and helps designate how each child should spend their time.
