Follow Step-By-Step Instructions for Each Activity
The discover! Science™ Board helps to drive discussion between teacher and children. You can ask questions, build vocabulary, follow procedures, test an experiment, record research, and write conclusions all in one reusable location. There is one free-standing board for each activity, designed to encourage teacher and children to engage in science-themed educational activities:
- Questions: write questions children have about the activity that will drive research.
- Procedures: build vocabulary and understanding of the scientific process.
- Research: record the learning that is taking place during each activity.
- Conclusions: use shared writing techniques to document what children learned during research & study.
- Vocabulary: introduce specific vocabulary needed to learn the science concepts presented with each activity.
